Speech Evaluation

Service Description

Comprehensive evaluations are the first step in the speech and language therapy process. Evaluations consist of a case history form, parent interview, administration of standardized assessments, use of informal assessments/observation if needed, and a written report of results.  All clients must receive an initial evaluation prior to beginning services, and re-evaluations are required every year for process monitoring. Some clients may have a previous evaluation from a private practice or school evaluation that, if it is less than 6 months old, may be used to start the therapeutic process without requiring a re-evaluation.
